Sukuk Summit Press Releases
ICG-Events are pleased to announce that the 2016 London Sukuk Summit, which will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary year, will be taking place on the 25th - 26th of May at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge, London. On the evening of the first day of the Sukuk Summit, the 25th of May 2016, we will also be hosting the 2016 Sukuk Summit Awards of Excellence which will take place at the event's Gala Dinner Ceremony.
The global Sukuk market has once again maintained its momentum and poised to pass the US$100 billion mark in 2015. Despite the vagaries of the global economic recovery, a manifold of conditions, albeit with certain caveats, augur well for the continued sustainability of the global Sukuk market in 2016 and beyond.
While the past year has proven to be testing given the fall in oil prices and low commodity prices, the continuing political situation in the Middle East, adversity seems to be bringing exciting new opportunities and potentially co-opting important new entrants to the Sukuk market.
The Sukuk Summit is specifically aimed at harnessing the most current issues so as to keep all interested parties informed of the Sukuk market developments and innovation; to provide a platform for dialogue with peers; and to provide all participants with a voice in contributing to the future direction of the Islamic debt and capital markets.
Innovation, Infrastructure and Inclusiveness are the emerging buzz words in the Sukuk market, which makes this year’s 10th Anniversary London Sukuk Summit a must attend event if you have any interest in Islamic Capital Markets or Sukuk.
Once again the London Sukuk Summit delivered on its promise to be a key event
The quality of the discussions led by the panellists and also in the margins of the conference was excellent and highly relevant
Sukuk remains an untapped opportunity for European corporates
ICG’s London Sukuk Summit has over the years played an important part in raising the profile of Sukuk and educating the issuers and investors in this important financing instrument.
